Middletown coffee shop to host arcade night for those on autism spectrum

Jul. 18--MIDDLETOWN -- The Chippens Hill Group and Project Community Autism Social at Yale will be sponsoring a mobile video game arcade event this weekend for individuals on the autism spectrum.
It will be held Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Perkatory Coffee Roasters, 725 Main St., Unit 23, at the former trolley barn in the city's North End.
This is a free, fun, non-competitive, multiplayer console gaming experience for those diagnosed with autism, their friends, family and "neurotypical" peers, according to a press release.
All ages are welcome. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian. For information, visit the Facebook page or call or text 203-927-3970.
