Caregiver recognized as 2019 Bryant True Hero

Charlie's Tropic Heating & Air Conditioning recently recognized Lillie Bailey with the 2019 Bryant True Heroes award. Lillie, 73, is a caregiver to her granddaughter who has cerebral palsy and to a 54-year-old man with Down Syndrome.

According to a press release from Charlie's Tropic Heating & Air Conditioning, Lillie has a passion for helping others and she believes there is a real purpose in the work she does. The Bryant True Heroes are people who make a difference in their communities every day. The award is a way to thank those people and recognized them for their efforts.

To thank Lillie, Charlie's Tropic Heating & AC is partnering with Bryant Heating & Cooling and Johnstone Supply to install a new HVAC system in her house. The new system will replace a single window AC unit that cools her house and a small space heater that provides warmth.

Lillie Bailey was publicly recognized as the 2019 Bryant True Hero at a Jumbo Shrimp baseball game.
