Mental health and wellness fair to be held Aug. 6 at Lafayette Square

Jul. 26--The City of Buffalo and the Buffalo Police Department's Crisis Intervention Team will sponsor a mental health and wellness fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 6 at Lafayette Square.

The fair offers a chance for the public to meet members of the new Crisis Intervention Team and more than two dozen local health care service providers.

Health screenings, therapy dogs and "fun and fit" activities are planned for the event, which will be held rain or shine.
